Locals give their guns to shoot Jannat 2

Jannat 2 officials could have known of the illicit arms trade in northern India, but they would never have imagined being offered these weapons by the local crowd when they were shooting their film.

It was a border village in Haryana. Filming took place up. Some firearms, which were to be used as accessories, were not on the shelf because the truck transporting them was stuck in traffic . the crowd was getting impatient to see any action on the sets and to our surprise, some came forward and offered their guns, said Deshmukh.

The film is the sequel to 2008 hit the Jannat, Emraan Hashmi and you will play an illegal arms trader with Esha Gupta as his love story.

Deshmukh maintains, it is scary when you find out that half the crowd around your shooting is armed with weapons. So the production team chose not to bicker with them, keeping the security of any unit in mind. "Nearly 50 percent of the crowd had weapons concealed under their clothes. There were no arguments about games that day," said Deshmukh, adding: "They were mostly armed with rifles at the hand.

We were amazed and amused to see them. We thanked them, but he refused their offer our free accessories arrived by then. "
